El presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, habló sobre la situación de la pandemia en su país y aseguró que la contaminación se dio porque el mandatario colombiano, Iván Duque, envío personas infectadas.
Para el mandatario venezolano no es casualidad la cantidad masiva de connacionales infectados que retornaron destacando que solo en las últimas horas detectaron 75 casos positivos, 67 importados, 66 de ellos desde Colombia.
Ante esto, resaltó la habilitación de “murallas sanitarias” en la zona limítrofe, en especial con Colombia, con la que refuerzan la vigilancia epidemiológica y obligan a los que van llegando a cumplir una cuarentena obligatoria, sin dejar que viajen a sus lugares de destino.
“Ahí se van a quedar 14 días, qué es duro y difícil la situación, pero más duro es que contaminen al país, que entren y contaminen a toda Venezuela como es el deseo de Iván Duque en Colombia, es la orden que dio (…) de hacer todo lo que se pueda hacer para contaminar a Venezuela”, acusó Maduro, asegurando que tenía las “pruebas en la mano”.
Maduro aseguró que han iniciado las investigaciones a través de testimonios de venezolanos que retornaron en las últimas horas desde varias ciudades colombianas y quienes “sospechan” que el virus les fue inoculado.
“Dicen que de un momento a otro los empezaron a montar en autobuses, les dieron unas bolsitas con unos pancitos. Que ellos salieron sanos desde Cali, Bogotá, Medellín, que no tuvieron contacto con nadie, solo con sus familias venezolanas, por lo que ellos presumen que los contaminaron en los autobuses”, relató Maduro.
Dijo que este grupo de compatriotas tenían más de 10 días esperando para ser trasladados hasta la frontera; sin embargo, las autoridades de Colombia no les colaboraron.
Maduro ordenó a sus equipos tanto médicos como militares estar en máxima alerta para contener el virus.
“No vamos a dejar que el desbordamiento del coronavirus en Brasil y Colombia y las maldades de Iván Duque contaminen a Venezuela. Alerta, no estoy hablando por hablar, a proteger a Venezuela”, puntualizó.
